Is there a big difference between an automatic and manual for my car? I have a 1996 chevrolet camaro RS. Its a 3.8l v6 automatic. Some honda dude heard that I had a 5 speed and when he found out that it was automatic he said that he would race me. that is because it is an automatic. Is there really that big of a diffence between an automatic and manual for my car? I did forget to mention that is a 4 speed with overdrive.
